Putin prolongs term of office of business ombudsman Titov
MOSCOW, May 26 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has decided to prolong the term of office of business ombudsman Boris Titov, Putin told Titov on Friday at a meeting.
“Even a simple narration of problems that businessmen are facing and that you are solving shows that this work is in high demand. Your term of office ends at the end of June. I see that you are doing everything with interest, you are working with interest. I think it will be right to offer an extension of your term of office, and I do it with pleasure,” Putin said.
Titov agreed with the suggestion and promised to do everything in his power to justify the trust.
Titov has been the business ombudsman since the establishment of the position in 2012.
